i would like to believe in the first one..superhuman...coz with clothes like those, they can afford a pair!!!.....or else they gave theirs away to charity to those who need it more...
@Star.. Well, it is not a question of these two. Its been an exceptionally windy winter this time, and I cannnot imagine venturing out without socks. Look at the foot on the ground belonging to the lady in black.. they are contracted in the chill.
I wonder why she wouldnot pull on a pair of foot-covers.

My problem is I feel the chill with my feet the most.. and just cant imagine how one would manage in those super-windy days.. I would buy new socks if required!!

Haha. True good observation. I do this sometimes tho when i just need to wear a pair without socks. but flip flops in winters are a bit strange
